A GOOD LAUGH AT THE BEGINNING OF THE WEEK….The week started badly. First thing Monday morning I got a message from my secretary to phone an unhappy man who says he represent a big sponsor of WP Rugby.
I phoned the man and he said his company Golden Arrows Busses have decided to withdrawn their sponsorship of the WP team after they fell so badly out of the bus against the Lions.
It was a sharp joke and I had a good laugh.

HUMOR KIKKER SLEGTE NAWEEK OP….Die week het sleg begin toe my sekretaresse aan my gesê dat  een van die WP se borge hul borgskap wil onttrek en ek moet die man terugskakel. 
Ek bel toe en die man sê hy is van Golden Arrow-busse en hulle wil hul borgskap van die WP onttrek na die WP-rugbyspan so lelik uit die bus geval het teen die Leeus.

LANGA, LAGUNYA EN ANDER KLUBS VERTOON PUIK…..Wel as ‘n mens gaan kyk na die puik resultate van klubs soos Langa en Lagyunya is ek geneig om ja daarop te antwoord.

GREAT PERFORMANCES BY LANGA, LAGUNYA AND OTHERS….Are the sleeping giant awakening?
Well if you look at the results of clubs in the black townships the answer must be Yes!
Langa will be crowned as champions in Premier League B this season whilst Lagunya (situated in the Nyganga-area) are the runners-up.

Dit is hierdie tyd van die jaar wanneer sommige klubs al begin vat-vat aan beker-glorie, terwyl ander klubs sleg slaap met die relegasie-spook wat hulle uit die slaap hou.

GELUK EN STERKTE JURIE……. Ek wil my rubriek vandeesweek begin deur aan Jurie Roux, voorsitter van die Maties-rugbyklub en junior vise-president van die WP Rugby-unie, geluk te wens met sy aanstelling as hoof uitvoerende beampte van die SA Rugby-unie.
Ek glo dat Jurie ‘n groot impak sal maak by SA Rugby en ek wens hom, namens alle betrokkenes by die WP-unie, sterkte en sukses in sy nuwe amp.

CONGRATULATIONS JURIE!.....I want to congratulate Jurie Roux, Chairman of the Maties Rugby Club and Junior President of the WP Rugby Union, on his appointment as CEO of the SA Rugby Union.
I believe Jurie will make a big success in his new job at SA Rugby and we wish him well.
