GROOT RUGBY-NAWEEK

A RUGBY COLUMN BY MR H

PREPERATION VERY IMPORTANT
The first round of club rugby matches in the Western Province produced excellent rugby.
In some of the matches the point difference between the teams was rather large. This just shows how important it is to prepare 100% for the new season. The teams that won with a big winning margin were the teams that did a lot of work during the off-season.

A rugby column by Mr H

The 2012 Club Rugby Season in the Western Province will kick-off on Saturday.  To everybody involved, the players, referees, officials, club members and supporters – may this be a great year for each and everyone.

Club rugby in Western Province is huge.  In total 157 club matches will be played on Saturday (who said club rugby is dying in South Africa??)
This huge number of club matches in the Western Province says a lot about the love for rugby amongst the young people of the Western Cape.
