Vics won 32 30.

UCT again having a below par season. It laments the fact they only take the Varsity Cup serious. SLA is not important enough, or maybe only the games against Stellenbosch RFK.

Any news on the other two teams the 2nd and 3ds of

Agreed - SLA is much much tougher than Varsity Cup

The SLA is a much tougher than the VC but the pace of the VC is much higher as this is an age group competition. The physical challenges is much less than that of the SLA. Maties is getting the balance right of how to field a VC, SLA team respectively.

Arnie, for sure, Ive said it for a while, at club level there are teams that dont worry with razzle dazzle ... they stick to basics and very well ... UCT will bounce back next year Im sure.

 having played both, its hard to compare the two. The Varsity Cup is semi pro, hard, fast, skilled and physical. The SLA is amateur and less structured but also physical. I think the problem with UCT is that they only worry about the Varsity Cup cos it pays the rent but if you look at club champs they are dominated by Varsity Cup teams. Its hard to compare amateur rugby with semi pro. Clubs lik Hammies would do well in VC but slower less skilled/well coached sides like False Bay who are a great amateur side would suffer in the Varsity Cup.
