Maties vs Helderberg at Charles Morkel, Strand tonight @ 21h00

This will be an interesting fixture. With Maties already crownned SLA champions the question will be, do they rest some of their players ahead of the club champs. Helderberg have done extremely well in the last few games and if Maties dont pitch with their full strength team they might be in for a shock defeat.

couple of weeks back people we're saying that False Bay had hit the wall when we lost 55-14, but nobody seemed to be saying that Maties were picking up serious momentum going into the National Club Champs! as we see in their last 3 games, FB, Hammies & Berge

They have now given 3 very good SLA teams (incl. us of course ) a rather big wake up as to where we have to be if we want to compete for league honours next year.

They are gonna be one tough nut to crack at Club Champs!!!

I was at the match last night and at times it just looked to easy for the Maties. They literally grinded Berge into the ground and I dont see anyone stopping them at the Club champs.The halftime score was 14-7 but Helderberg had to defend too much, and after Saturdays tough match againts Villagers, things fell apart for them.If a team can score a try from a move called "wrong option" then things are definately working for them.
