Just a quick question. Why when SA play a match do we get a northern hemisphere ref but when Aus play NZ they having SA refs? I thought When SA play NZ theres an AUS ref, and when SA play AUS, theres a NZ ref? Is there any reason for this? Just find it strange.

Mo. I do know that the Ausssies are also concern about it. Please remember that a Kiwi is making the call on referees (paddy o'brein).

I dont hear any arguements from anyone here when SA refs 'favour' their teams in Super 14 ... Mr.Adams, you better than anyone mos know the Kiwis are people that dont fuss alot when it comes to refs, they prefer to stick to the game.

For the tests I think it has more to do with how they're scheduled .. not too long ago I wondered where Kaplan was then I saw him ref RWC qualifying matches ..

Kiwi refs are not as good as SA refs .. period , however Steve Walsh is absolute crap as a ref .. die man kyk te veel na die cameras ... in plaas van die game ..

well the irb ref panel
said that they want the top ref's to do duty in the trinations
sa refs are plenty, a few aussies but at present the next best batch at irish
because they need netural ref's and the top refs..
so nz lagging behind in top ref officials...
but the circle will turn again..
