Amalgamation of NNK & Goodwood??
I heard a rumour that these 2 teams are in the process/talks to amalgamate then 1st 2 teams frm Prem A etc will be promoted? Is this true?

Wouldn't that cause a ripple effect in that two teams from each subsequent league would need to be promoted?

Colleen this is just a rumour and won't happen in 100 years. With the new competition structure in 2012 plans will be made to get NNK in the top league.

Next year will be the last of the current structure. Clubs were asked in the last Council meeting to send suggestions to Mr H. He was asked by the Pres to send out reminder to every club. I want to make proposals but any suggestions will be more than helpfull.

It will never happen in a million years. Rumours yes, talks maybe, but both parties won't compromise. GWD will lose too much, and it will thus be a "windowdressed" NNK side. So from GWD perspective, no merge on the cards!!! We already have plans in tact for the next few years...And NNK too, watch this space. Some big names are mentioned to take over coaching. But again, he said she said...For now GOODWOOD RFC remains independent from NNK, so Jack PAROW and PAROW Hilton with her alsation in a pick 'n pay shopping bag won't be visiting GWD MALL in the near future;-)
