Ignorant times
I read this forum day to day and there are to many people that repeat themselves every single day, which is quite sickening. Im tired of people complaining about players moving around for money. Do you people not read the news? Times are tough. We only in the recession now. So why dont take the oppurtunity's that are given to you via rugby and make a living/extra income from it. We not in the days when our fathers played for passion(which is a fair pointer). but in these conditions, every penny helps. So stop being ignorant and blapping the same old rubbish. We all could do with some extra cash. So no matter how clubs recruit/buy, however you want to put it. It's for the better of the player and his family and of cause his financial future.

Planki, it is a reality we all must face yes but as is the case in any situation of change there will be resistance but also opportunities. As a Club we also started two seasons ago against many's wishes, me included, otherwise we would have lost most of our Laaities. However it is not something that many people accept and there are a lot of resistance from old Club members. However as we experienced just last week, there are a lot of loopholes that can be exploited and it is a whole new ballgame. Previously you as a player could not move within your division after being registered at the beginning of the season by your Club. You could move to the Divisions below your division within that season however as we found out last week one of our key players was granted a clearance in last week and are playing in the same division. Just guess for who and who got it right. So be careful with the Professional approach eventhough this is the way to go. Ja in my days we played for the oranges at halftime and the free Oros.

It is also the reason why we have so many mercenaries plying their trade from one club to another and has completely messed up what club rugby is supposed to be all about.
We are airing views about how we feel about it, but realise the inevitable ... The Rand will win over the man ... its been like that since forever ....

Ek weet nie of iemand anders hiervan bewus is nie. Ongelukkig het ek nie my Reelboek by my nie maar ons het al die reel vantevore uitgeoefen. Die rede vir die toepassing was gewoonlik dat jy verhuis het en of werk of studies in n verskillende area as voorheen wil beoefen. Hoop ek het dit verklaar Jean.

As I have it, you could apply for special permission for clearence once having played for a particular club later than 21 days before the league starts.
Once again, it has to be agreed on by both parties and the exec committee has the right to give his clearence and allow him to play for another club.
This can only take place if the players circumstances, (Living and or Employment) change in such a way that he cannot reasonably continue playing for the club.
Nowhere does it state that you can only move to a lower league though....

Planki, the solution is simple:
Never argue with an idiot, because they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
