Which Derby in Cape Town will attract or has attracted the most spectators at a Club Rugby match this season?(besides Varsity Cup)
Over the last couple of seasons SKW vs Hamiltons, Strand United vs St Georges, Tygerberg vs Belhar have managed to attract 3-5 thousand .
Based on current form can a Callies vs Stars match,  Primrose vs Violets or the oldest Derby Hammies vs Villagers attract such numbers? What sort of crowds watch UCT vs Maties if its not a Varsity Cup match?

SKW vs Tygerberg at Parow Stadium in a play-off for promotion to SLA had more than 5000 people watching the match. The stand and the surrounding area was packed to capacity.

Some 10 yrs back, Tygerberg and Northerns always had figures around 6/7K spectators. That was big.

I was at that match as well, I couldnt believe that there were more people at that match than at PSL matches that Id been to at Athlone stadium.

Hey Lofty, also SKW vs Villagers in the one and only match that Luke Watson played for SKW at Brookside. The whole place was packed to the rafters.

Our last match at the Track against Collegians attracted about 10000 spectators, in fact all our games against Collegians attract more than 5000 people
