When will we move away from this idiotic kick&chase gameplan that has been figured out many seasons ago.  It's the most frustrating and boring rugby.  Chrash, boom, kick
Net omdat jou gesig soos 'n piesang lyk, beteken nie jy's 'n vrugte boer nie!!

RE:SA VS AUS

A very poor showing by the boks on Saturday. All but 3 players (In my opinion) came to the party and they were Danie Rossouw, Gio Aplon and Lwazi Mvovo. Although Kanko, Lambie and chilliboy looked decent enough as well. As for the rest, pathetic to say the least. Our props were clearly out of their depth and "new" guys like Hargreaves, Johnson, Stegman,Basson and de Jong still have some way to go before being regarded as solid test players. Pretty average players at this stage. "Older" more experienced campaigners such as Smit,Pienaar, Steyn and Olivier were Kak. (Sorry,no other word comes to mind).

(And the coach said that they were well prepared for the game. Really now. LOL)

I thought Lambie had a positive influence when he came on, even though Aus had already made a lot of subs by then,

Agree with the rest of the list..you can add some more players to it though.

Basson - can't tackle and positional play is rubbish.
Deon Stegmann  - can't comment on him because I never saw him.
Actually the whole team besides Gio, Ashley and De Jongh were KAK. (from the starting line up that is)

PDV - what a F...ing idiot, who plays the kick over top game from the first blow of the whistle against a team that is probably the best in world under the high ball? and does not change the strategy when it does not work.

During the game they showed the coaches box, who the hell was that person sitting closest to the camera.

PDV is acting on instruction and so too the players ... Ive already said the Bok team is being coached by Rassie here at home ...

I cant believe that no place could be found for Jano Vermaak who has proven to be one of the steadiest halfbacks in SA for a while now.
Adi Jacobs ??? howcome ?? based on what .. if they were looking at development ... why not the Eberhson brothers ...

No conspiracy theories here sir, do you think Rassie and Nienaber are not working with the team as we speak ??? Take a flight to Jozi and have a look.

RE:SA VS AUS
What exactly makes Rassie and Nienaber a good thing then?

You right about PDV acting under instruction, he is unable to to it for himself. I was thinking during the half time break at what PDV would say to the players to motivate them. Must be a joke.

RE:SA VS AUS
Aplon - Never gave up trying and I believe he would be better utilised on the wing.
Basson - Another case of the international level being too big a step up. He is however relatively new on the scene and will have more to offer when he gains the necessary experience. Liability on defense.
JDJ - Man this oke is exciting and I predict he will become one of the Boks future greats.
Olivier - I will refuse to support ANY team he is selected for. The guy is hopeless and has no business donning the green and gold.
Mvovo - Time will reveal him to be the exciting talent he is destined to become.
Steyn - His game has not moved with the times and it shows. I would prefer him ahead of Butch, but definitely NOT the answer.
Pienaar - Did not have the best of games but at least he showed glimpses of creativity and never gave up trying to 'spark' something.
Johnson - Played his heart out, what more can you ask for?
Rossouw - One of our better ball carriers but the "Teflon Danie's" hands are suspect.
Stegman - Ha ha ha ha ha ha.....I can honestly say I never knew he was playing on Saturday.
Hargreaves - Out of his depth.
Van de Merwe - His showings in the Boks jersey have not exactly cemented him as the long term replacement for Bakkies.
Kruger - Too raw.
Smit - Ai ai ai.......non playing captain perhaps at the WC?
Greyling - I like his intensity but way down the pecking order. Far better options available to PDV.

Yip, pretty much spot on Jakes. Except for your comments on Ruan Pienaar. He definately sparked something.......... problem is that he sparked it for the aussies. The guy is not a bad player but he was poor on saturday.

RE:SA VS AUS
Morney steyn's hands is to slow to send his backs away. He kicks or run to far and then gives the ball to the backs and puts them under presure. The outside guys never got time and space to move in because he is too slow in his distribution. Ai the forwards were not playing as a unit and showed little in defence and on attack. Fuck they were useless. We could see the difference when the 10 and 12 went off. They were never my favorite players. Why do we have to choose a player because he kicks well.
