The Aussie duo of Rocky Elsom and Pat McCabe both escaped sanction for what many considered dangerous "tip tackles". Question is again asked if it were Bakkies Botha or Schalk Burger would they have been cited.....history suggests YES!!.  

How about the Bok acts of thuggery that went unpunished even by the ref ...

 These two incidents were looked at by the citing commision no others, my question is if they were Springbok players under investigation would they have been treated the same???

Or must we comment about the New Zealanders that seem to love giving players the Elbow or Forearm in the throat or cheek bone during rucks. That has never been mentioned here but happens every game when they play.

The Boks have and always will be on the receiving end of stiff sentences. We have a checkered history of ill-discipline and in some ways do not have a leg to stand on regarding the punishments dished out. However the mere fact that there are countless incidents by other teams that go uncensored really boggles the mind.

Ok, so if a young player attempts to tackle an opposition player like Butch James attempted on a few occassions on Sat, you as a coach will leave it at that ??? It was thuggery and it was dirty, as an educator on the game, you have look pass your allegiance and look at the game and what is in its best interests, the Boks are ambassadors of the sport and their country.. end of story, not so nice when the shoe is on the other foot ...Malicious with intent is the only words I CAN think of .. The Aussies kept it rugby, the ref allowed it .. the Boks kept it thugby , the ref allowed it ... dont let me bring out the 'other' law book ...

But you contradicting yourself!!. How can u call 2 tip tackles "rugby" and an attempted "high" tackle (the allegation being flimsy at best) is called "thugby". You have just proved the point of double standards. P.S. The ref did not allow it (Elsom was penalised). The citing commission saw fit to let them get away with it. 

Also, I do coach youngsters and will never condone foul play. But that was'nt the question i asked was it!!!!
