SLB Relegation battle
Well with only about 5 games or so to go we have a bit of a slugfest at the bottom of SLB... I thought Young Peoples were clearly going down a few months ago... a few results went their way and now its tight at the bottom between Young Peoples on 21, Kuilsriver on 23, Primrose on 25 and Hands and Hearts on 25...
4 points seperate these 4 teams.
My prediction: Primrose... they've played an extra game (or 2) over the other clubs and i'm not sure if they can perform after the fast... Agree? Disagree?

RE:SLB Relegation battle
Krimz its gonna be huge.
I think its going to be between Kuils River and Primrose. I think Kuils River have the more difficult fixtures remaining.
It's going to be interesting, Primrose remaining fixtures are Peoples, Kuils River and Bellville.
Going to be like playing Knockout rugby.

RE:SLB Relegation battle
I didnt take the actual fixtures into consideration, big games!
After checking the fixtures i think Young Peoples are still struggling... Tygers... Brakke... Primrose and then Bellville
Kuila get Hands... Brakke...Coll and then Primrose
Hands get Kuila...Tygers.. Brakke and then NNK
The games to watch must be Roses vs Peoples; Roses vs Kuila; Kuila vs Hands

RE:SLB Relegation battle
hahaha...interesting topic. I agree with most said but i dont think we(kuila) gona drop. I think we just might make it this year but hey who knows . Anything can happen in SLB.
I also think Roses are in trouble because of the games left. Roses and Peoples must also still play so one is gona lose points.
If you good with maths and you look closely who is playing who you will see Kuila Needs 2 wins out of 4 games to be safe. If results go our way we might just need 1 win(4points) .lol
To add to all this dont be surprised if its decided in the boardroom who is going down this year. (wink, wink)
2010 here we come!!!

RE:SLB Relegation battle
Well looking at the log I would say Primrose is in more danger. they've played 2 more games than young peoples and only 4 points ahead. Then there's still the case of the Y/peoples and H&H match that didn't take place. Please don't chop off my head now, but from what I've HEARD, I'm not saying it is so. i heard that WP has left the ball in Y/Peoples court to decide whether or not they want to play the match. If it's decided not to play the game then Y/peoples get 5points, automatically moving us up to 6th with 26points. i understand this decision will only be taking place end of the season depending on whether or not we are safe. Once again it's all hear say! but could prove vital.

KB, are you maybe refering to the same story I heared about not fielding teams and also fielding suspended players?
If that's the case, the 5 point golden platter thing means plenty for some folk....

RE:SLB Relegation battle
Seems like we are going to have to wait till the end of the season to see who really gets relegated. I'm sure there's still some interesting developments to take place, as well as some upsets.
Y/peoples vs Tygerberg tomorrow (Sat) at Florida Park. Some say easy 50 points for Tygerburg, I say they wish.
