Rugby World Cup 2011
The Springboks played perhaps their best match since Snorre took over the coaching. I was nervous about this match because Fiji is very physical and for the Springboks not to get any injuries against them is amazing. I hope the Boks can keep the momentum.
Autralia losing against Ireland was a huge surprise. The Aussies being the inform team before the WC started, has suddenly lost it. Looked like they expected everything to just happen and when it didn't they had no plan B.
The ABs are still well on their way. They are beatable, but that might count in their favour. This might just be their year.
England has not impressed me at all this year.
My predictions for QF matches:
All Blacks vs Argentina
Springboks vs Wallabies
Ireland vs Wales
England vs France
Semi-finals:
All Blacks vs Springboks
Ireland vs France

Jean, agree, but the Ausies, for me was just missing that spark, when the Irish issolated the 9, 10 and 15, the game was suddenly turning.
The Ausie nr 10 does not commit to tackles and does little to attack the defense out of his own......
France also does not do enough to convince me at this stage....
England is way out of their depth, the only thing that makes them dangerous is their All Black outfit at this stage. The England Nr 13 looks promising, i believe he is from Somoan decent.
Samoa had Wales to the wall in the first halve, but Wales showed great composure, but they (Wales) also does not have any spark.

RE:Rugby World Cup 2011
My opinion on the Ausies - as dangerous as Cooper can be at flyhalf, I believe he will be their downfall this World Cup. When the pressure is on he is not a persentage player. He can easily give away tries by doing something stupid ala David Campese style.
France as we all know does not need form going into a match. They can suddenly beat the All Black this week-end. If I was an All Blacks supporter I would be happy to have them in my pool. That means they will only face each other again in the final, if they do. If the ABs lose this week-end they will have an easier run to the final. That takes the pressure off them. To get to the final the French need to play a few good matches and I can't see them winning 3 big ones in a row.
England is in a shambles whether they wear white or black.
What's going on with the goal kicking this WC?

I think the ball is more egg than oval, lots of complaints as the wind plays with it alot whilst in the air.Another IRB stunt i guess.........
