FRANCE GETTING FINED
Watching the game on Sunday i was happy to see the French moving forward while the All Blacks were doing the HAKA.( I suddenly got glimses of the 95 RWC final with the Boks doing it) and then the All Blacks did something and i thought to myself they will lose this game. Why? because they turned their backs  on the French and they almost never do it. Then the next morning i read that the IRB fined the French with R126000 for not showing respect to the All Blacks when they were doing their beloved HAKA by moving forward. Now like i said in my prevoius post the IRB is the All Blacks and the other nations is nill. Now that the French was fined i have a question for the IRB. Why dont you fine the All Blacks for not showing their opponents respect when doing the HAKA as they show them how they will slit their throats. Or better why dont you just ban the haka as it is getting boring  for the other teams to stand and watch and they can do nothing about it

RE:FRANCE GETTING FINED
...I'm probably late in replying but I would like to say that I disagree with banning the HAKA (I'm a Bok supporter) but one thing is for sure though that they should allow teams to do whatever they want to during the HAKA. We have all played rugby and we all know if there is a big game one cant wait to get into the other team.  Now NZ can do their HAKA en slit the troat concept and really get their feelings and frustrations and everything else out but the other teams just has to stand their and cant really show any of their emotions which probably has been building up since earlier the week.
From the aforementioned persective I believe that other teams should be allowed to show at least some sort of emotions which wil only make it fair...you can not ban the HAKA..it just will not be right but you can at least allow other teams to do something...
This will at least give the ther team some sort of fighting power when the game actually kicks off...otherwise NZ just get that little bit of advantage inton the game...

RE:FRANCE GETTING FINED

Banning the Haka ... lol ... what a joke.
Please get the facts right, the French were fined because they went over the halfway line when the Haka was done, what they did with their formation and when they walked up was no problem ... the problem was overstepping the halfway line. The same rule is in place for the AB'S , they have to stay on or behind the 10m line , they cannot go over that as a group ...

One question, what do you think will happen should any team be allowed to do anything they want when they face the Haka ?? Accept it for what it is .. a challenge to the opposition ... This kind of comment is usually for the NH whingers ... I see the here too many of that also ..

Lastly, the IRB has rules and regulations in place , every member union is aware thereof ...

How times have changed. David Campese once stated that he could use his time better during the haka by practicing his chip kicks in his own 22 rather than be forced to stare at his opposition while they stare at him
