RWC 2011 vs IRB ALL BLACKS
With the world cup over i just want to congratulate the All Blacks on winning it. However since im a Bok supporter i will never forgive Bryce Lawrence for his handling of the match against Australia. You can say what you want about the Boks having 70% of the ball but as we all know that the world cup was won with defence and not with the amount of ball a team has had. So if Bryce just blew according to the law and penalised the Aussies the Boks would have won the game with Steyn kicking the penalties over; and we all know that the All Blacks were scared of facing the Boks in the semi's. Like i said since the beginning of the world cup to my friends that the All blacks will win the cup with the help of Paddy O' Brian and how true it seems to be. To me the IRB is not promoting the game of rugby but promoting the All Blacks. Howcome the All balcks can threat the IRB of not competing in the next RWC's and get away with it; but when a player from Samoa speaks his mind about them having 3 days to recover before the next game he got suspended. How can a ref have a poor game and get away with it at RWC but when Kobus Wessels made a correct decision as a TMO in a test he was attack by Paddy in public. This is why the All Blacks are the world champs because the IRB think that they are the nation that will take rugby global (how sad). This rugby world cup will be remebered for all the wrong reasons for years to come and not for the All Blacks winning it.

RE:RWC 2011 vs IRB ALL BLACKS
Well bon, seems things aint over yet as the IRB tried to remove a video on youtube showing that Stephen Donald's penalty was not over..in slow motion and zooming in. The weird thing is that CJ and the assistants lift their hands in unison when the ball was kicked. However, more interesting to me was the fact that the IRB was trying a legal route to stop the video from being distributed. You can get the link on WP and Stormer's Fanbase FB page.No sour grapes, mere facts that wont change the result.

I've seen the video and it does look like it missed. Having said that, when watching the final, the kicked was shown from a different angle and that definately looked like it crept inside the pole. I think the angle of the youtube video makes it seem as if it missed.

At first glance it didnt look over, however I had a very good budy of mine at the final , he was seated behind the posts and he says it was over .. it really is a moot point as Wales could still be moaning about his kick that was adjudged as missed.
The sour grapes stench is also very alarming, as Bob Skinstad said ..'we're not a nation of whingers' .. yet at every opportunity there seems to be moaning and groaning. Take a leaf from the Kiwi players and accept fate as it is. The Boks and the kind of rugby they played were a great disappointment. Im not sure what kind of rugby you like, but to me if you have possession you have to use it to accumulate points. The Boks had opportunities to put the Aussies away. Bryce was a small piece in the puzzle and was poor both ways. Stop looking at the game with one green eye.
When the Kiwi teams get 50/50 calls against them in Superrugby, they have no choice but to move on .. the same can be said for the Aussies. This victim mentality and sense of entitlement is really becoming quite a bore.

RE:RWC 2011 vs IRB ALL BLACKS
Damn Josh K how do you know that the Kiwi's and Aussies dont moan and groan about the 50/50 calls that goes against them. Since you are not in both countries how can you make such a statement or do you read their newspapers. I've got family living in both countries and when 50/50 calls goes against a team from those countries or when a ref from South Africa have a bad game the papers and supporters there are also whinning so dont just classified the Bok supporters of havin a victim mentality as you call it. Think back to the RWC 2007 when Wayne Barnes did not see that forward pass that cost you the game. Since that night the All Blacks supporters were also moaning and groaning and even at RWC 2011 the commentators of New Zealand still did remind the world of it when Barnes did blow a game. So before you or any other All Black supporter critisize the Bok supporters on this forum think again about what you are saying. And like i said before congrats on winning the cup.

Never said that they dont in fact that can carry on and on about things to the state of being boring about it. I do read their news regularly for sure , but its the rugby men Im speaking of. Their players will never outwardly crit a ref in the papers ... they take it on the chin. The reaction from some Bok players had me in stitches because they so strongly have this sense of entitlement .. a hugely South African problem I might add. Did they really think they' d be able to come to RWC and expect their opposition to roll over. The sad thing is that the Boks have regressed since '07. The coaching and management team I dont feel had any idea of what they wanted to do. The saddest aspect is the decline in basic skills such as catching, running and passing.
You want to compare things, how about when the Crusaders got a dud call in the final of the Superrugby comp a while back, hard for them to swallow, but they just trucked along and tried to learn from the experience. Nobody told Jean De Villers to throw a forward pass ...nobody told Fourie Du Preez to knock the ball on (even though he was off side) with tryline at his mercy, nobody told Danie Russouw to take out the leg/s of the opposition jumper.
There are also many that say that the AB'S would not have won the RWC if the Boks were in the semis ... has a familiar ring to it doesnt it ... Of the Sanzar member countries, SA is the one who has regressed the most, the Aussies have been brilliant to watch and so too the AB'S .. What progressions did the Boks make? I also feel that everyone got too far ahead of themselves ... 3 time winners blah blah blah ... all that before a ball was kicked in anger.
Again the sense of entitlement is just too rich and too much .. then some here have the balls to say some of us have a chip on OUR shoulder. The rugby world owes none of us anything .. if you want the Cup , you've got to work for it.
