is with your field or why the game was postoponed,but we dont fear you,our
record against Pniel shows that,in fact its one of the games we bracket as a
5pointer,home or away.

Look i dunno the reasons for the game being called off,but its certainly
not coz we fear you,i think you giving your team way too much credit

Was the game cancelled or postponed?

Did any other games take place or was it just the 1's that was postponed/cancelled?

Also didnt Herman say in a post on this site a couple of weeks back that only the ref has the authority to decide if a field is unplayable?

Game has been postponed,it was a request from Pniel,will be played @
a later date.

Clearly tier2 don't know his facts.Tygerberg canceled due to us playing on our B field which is not cordon off and due to them unsafe. Kuile had no problem when they played last weekend. Why would we not play. Only the referee can cancel a game. Tiere confirmed on Friday they not willing 2 play. Costing them 5 points. They got injured players and I think some red card players as well. Never the less hulle maak hulle naam self sleg.

Sounds like something for JP and Mr H to discuss on wednesday on Cape Rugby TV!

Thanks for sharing that with us,and you correct i didnt know the reason for the game not being played.An informed source told me game postponed to
a later date,but the request came from Pniel,so i gather he was wrong.For
you to suggest as per your first post "we fear you" is laughable,furthermore
you are speculating to suggest its bcoz of injuries and redcards,i assure you thats
not the way we operate.I am very sure they had valid reasons for not wanting to play on ur B-field,the fact tht Kuila was prepared to play their
was their call, nothing 2 do with us.So have ur 5pointer im sure it cums in
handy.

 I am sure that the game would have been postponed and not cancelled as giving away 5 points just like that would seriously damage Tygerbergs league ambitions. Right!?!?!?

They stupid not to have played because they smashed us in the 1st round. Anyway all I'm saying it was not good sportsmanship at end of the day. There was nothing wrong with field. we don't care about the points bro. We suppose to stand by each other. Anyway its a decision the board must decide. The ref made his decision and confirmed the field was in order and according spec.

The info we got is that the game is postponed to a later date.
 
about the field....yes we played their last week and the field itself is better than the A field. The only problem is that it is open. the same as Primrose field but at roses they use a rope to keep the people back.

I agree things can get out of control if the games get tight and people are so close. Even lastweek when we played....their are times the linesman could not see the line but we and Pniel worked good together to keep the people back.

I suppose if we had to play there again we would at least request a rope to keep the people back so i can understand Tygerberg's decision.

kuila Boy, the fact that you worked together to ensure the supportes stay away from the line is postive and good co-operation between Kuila and Pniel. This could be done for the game agains tigerburg. Pniel has problem with their main field, it should not be taken avantage of by other clubs to try moves like this. You work together to find solutions, we could have employed more security during the match or implement other contol measures, but instead tigers try to capitalize on Pniel situation. Security has never been a big issue at pniel for any of our guests. I
hope WP take a closer look at this concern and come with an appopiate solution.
