Western Province is the only province with two representatives still remaining in the 2015 Cell Community Cup after the quarterfinal fixtures were finalized over the weekend.
The annual WP Rugby Schools Day took place at DHL Newlands yesterday and was enjoyed by all those scholars and parents in attendance. Players from the age of 8 years old, under 13 and under 19 enjoyed the festivities.
On Saturday 14 March, Western Province Rugby hosted a U/16 & U/18 Sevens Girls Rugby Festival which took place at City Park.
Over 38 teams took part in this tournament and the teams each played 2-3 games. Each game being played for 7 minutes a half and in total 14 minutes.
This Saturday is the much-anticipated final of the 2015 Community Challenge between False Bay and the Paarl Region. It's been a tough tournament and both sides will be feeling the bumps and bruises ahead of their encounter.
One of the highlights of the rugby year is the annual Schools Day at DHL Newlands.
